Holy Cross Youth Ministry

We, of Holy Cross Youth Ministry, would like to welcome you to our page.

First we would like to describe ourselves. We are students from Grades 4, 5 and 6. We volunteer for this group on our own time. We follow many of Jesus teaching, but the passage that best describes us would be the following:

1 Peter 4:11
Do you have the gift of speaking? Then speak as though God himself were speaking through you. Do you have the gift of helping others? Do it with all the strength and energy that God supplies. Then everything you do will bring glory to God through Jesus Christ. All glory and power to him forever and ever! Amen.

What is most important is how we follow this teaching. We do it through our services to others, just like our school creed states.

Along the side, under What's Hot, you will find what the Youth Ministry members have done in the past. As they are always busy on some project or another, you can see that they have given to their fellow community members just as Jesus does often.

Holy Cross Youth Ministry decorated and donated a tree to the Festival of Peace. The monies from the sale of the silent auction of the tree went towards Second Stage Housing. Here are some pictures of the students at work and their tree.
